Dr. Hamed (Harvey) Shahnam is a dedicated GP who graduated with distinction from the Australian National University in 2017. He obtained his RACGP fellowship in 2023, achieving the highest clinical examination performance in South Australia and the Northern Territory in 2022. Dr. Harvey also holds a diploma in child health and a certificate in dermoscopy from the Skin Cancer College Australasia. He is an associate clinical lecturer with Adelaide University Medical School and a medical educator for GP Trainees.

Dr. Harvey has special interests in pregnancy care, child and adolescent health, dermatology, chronic disease management and mental health care.

He is passionate about preventative health and provides services in weight loss management, skin cancer checks and procedures, family planning including implanon insertion and iron infusion.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Harvey enjoys spending time with family and friends, photography, learning Japanese and practising yoga.
